What’s coming…

Having just commented on how meta-blogging is “dumb…” (I withdraw the comment, Geof, I am about to do it.)

Here’s what I’d like to get up here in the next week or three, assuming it will work: I’ll be putting up a page of some of my fiction writing. The reason I’ve refrained is that posting it to a public blog classifies a manuscript as “published,” thus most publishers will not accept it. And we can’t have that! If, however, I put it behind a sign-in page, it is then private to the “members” and is not “published.” So to read any of my work, you’ll have to register, but it’s worth it to me, because I’ll be able to share a bit.

I also hope to start posting pictures, maybe keep a little portfolio on a separate page, so keep your eyes out for that, as well. It’s my new, expensive, hobby, so I definitely hope to put that somewhere (along with iStock, if I ever do anything good enough).

And of course, my usual ramblings will continue here on the same bat channel.
