Not My Photo

I can’t believe I forgot to bring my camera to the concert. It’s been seven years since Derek has performed in Spokane. I could at least have taken a photo of the show and of me chatting with him afterwards to tide me over for the next seven, or however long it will be.

However, if I had taken a picture, it would look something like this:

I think I’m going to be a fan of Sara Groves now, too. I’ve got a couple of her CDs on the way.

    No way. He waits till I move away and then he goes to Spokane? Bastard. It's a good thing I got to see him twice a few months ago, or I'd be really angry. I'm glad he finally got to Spokane. And I don't really think he's a bastard.

    Yeah, I checked his tour dates the day of the Seattle show. SO dissapointing to realize I had missed him by just that much. There's no question I would have made the drive if I knew it was coming.

    I love that Derek has almost exactly the same Taylor 12-string model that I do (though his is slightly customized) because I can Photoshop my head on that picture and life out my fantasies.
