About

Life is trying things to see if they work. – Ray Bradbury

Keith Grant is a 28-year-old web application developer and designer residing in Portland, Oregon with an unsatiable need to make things that look good. He is passionate about web standards, good narrative in its many forms, and one gorgeous brunette.

I originally built elucidblue.com with the plan of using it to take off with freelance web design. Only a few months after it went live, however, I was offered a position as a php developer and this site fell by the wayside. I try to post something every now and then, but… no guarantees.

Elucid Blue 1.1

Elucidblue is powered by WordPress 2.7. This current theme is called Mandarin and is not publically released. I was planning to package this theme for release once I roll out elucidblue 2.0, but the more I’ve poked around recently, the more I’ve seen how badly in disrepair it is after multiple WordPress upgrades (not to mention some HTML that I’m more than a little embarrassed about). Looks like it’s just a bit too much work right now, sorry.

Elucid Blue uses Gravatar and GLT. Logotype is ITC Franklin Gothic and Franklin Gothic Medium Condensed; headlines are powered by sIFR. Rose image purchased from iStockphoto.
